about

I purchased the Mophox4 and Korg MS20 mini on the same day.
My intention was to purchase the Mopho poly but the MS20 was in the corner of the shop, I played around with it for a few minutes and I was blown away by its instant sonic madness I was hearing so easilyfrom the dedicated knobs alone, not even patching. Being fully aware of this legendary synth I decided to bring it home on the same day.

Within a few days of setting up both in my studio, this track emerged. The MS20 producing the most unique sax like tone and playing with its dual filter the sound you hear at the start is just one patch no multi tracking and improvisation, some rumbling of the filters is present at times!

The pad and the synth sequence is the mophoX4 & some basic live drum loops and layered filtered drums for some sonic interest.

Recorded in a day I knew I had made the right choice with these two powerful analogue synths.

This is however the only recording I have of "Mopho & Mini"
