September 2023 sees me returning to my ambient works after the previous two releases which explored Techno, Electro, IDM under my Initial Programs alias and varied Breakbeat excursions with "Amen Forms"

The title track "Marius Reigo" was created in July of 2023.

The track at its core has a haunting sonic foundation, yet as the track progresses new tones and moods shift in & out. As I worked on the piece various concepts and ideas happened quickly.
With just utilising my Prophet Rev2 I was able to achieve the right aesthetic which feels like observing another world while receiving various signals from an array of hi tech instruments, some sounds are alien and mysterious others are calming and familiar.

I hope that all of these morphing and layered elements make its forty minute duration a deep and engaging listen.

Its companion "Ganymede" recorded in Early September and has a darker atmospheric feel from the outset with its deep shifting analogue synth drones and its mysterious chimes and mutated alien chatter which comprises of a mixture of field recordings found sound and analogue synth experimentation and improvisation.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Andew Hartnett.

Andrew, along with his brother Dave were behind Dublin's cult XFM radio station. I'm eternally grateful for your kind friendship, shared talents, passions and your valuable time which you so generously shared during those fond early days.

Rest in peace Andrew.
