I wasn't planning to release any new music until end of June with my next CD album "Brain Oscillations"

Late spring/early summer 2022 has seen the sad passing of four deeply influential figures within electronic music.

Firstly the passing of Klaus Schulze a hugely influential figure often coined the Godfather of Techno which my forthcoming "Brain Oscillations CD is influenced by and dedicated to.

Next we had the passing of Vangelis a household name in electronic music due to his wonderful soundtrack work and a career that spanned six decades with a myriad of musical styles that always had a sense of majestic melody and timeless beauty.

In the last week Andy Fletcher of Depeche Mode sadly left us at only sixty years of age. Many of us grew up with Andy as we watched DM mutate from their early synth pop to a deeply influential electronic music group that matured and have written and produced so many timeless albums that often defy genre.

And lastly we lost Dave Smith the incredible talent behind the Sequential synth brand and many iconic instruments like the Prophet series and also developed the MIDI system which redefined the electronic music creation process in the late 80's.

Track one "Anisotropic Synchrony" is created with only Prophet sounds but with some additional digital manipulation on some source material.

Track Two "Astronauts Eye" is more experimental Ambient and continues with the theme of Light and the phenomena that astronauts often experience is space with light. This track was written only two days ago.

Track three "Extinguished Light" was composed shortly after the passing of Vangelis and is of a somewhat sombre yet otherworldly tone.

Woah, what comp! Every track on here is deserving of attention. But this one track stood out to me the most. The Lying Children seem to have a unique sound, its very intriguing! It was also nice hearing vocals on a ambient track! Defiantly going to look more into these guys! I Walked Bob Dylan On Stage!
